Behavioral Family Solutions® Announces New COVID-19 Protocols for Reopening

Miami, Fla., June 22, 2020 – In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, Behavioral Family Solutions has implemented new protocols in alignment with the CDC to ensure the safety and wellbeing of their clients and their families. The Board-Certified agency offers ABA therapy, and serves children and their families throughout the tri-county area: Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach.

Each parent will be provided with a consent form that must be signed before their child can begin sessions at any of their locations. These consent forms will inform parents of safety procedures and new protocols they have put in place.

Behavioral Family Solutions has implemented the following:

Room Assignments

  • One client per room
  • One RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) with client
  • Maximum 3 people per room when analyst present for supervision

Dropoff Protocol

  • Clients will be picked up in front of the building in the roundabout area. Parents will not be allowed to enter the waiting room area to minimize traffic within the office.

Pickup Protocol

Sanitization Checklist and Procedures

  • RBTS/Analysts are responsible for filling out the sanitization checklist before, during, and after each session.
  • Each sanitization checklist will be signed by RBT/Analyst as well as the office receptionist.

Storing and Sanitizing Face Shield

  • Each RBT/Analyst will be provided with a face shield that will be labeled with the provider’s name. This face shield will be sanitized and stored daily within the designated storage areas.
